Mount Pleasant Rotary Soccer Classic
Established in 1984
For over 30 years, the Rotary Soccer Classic has been held annually in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Serving as a major fundraiser and kick-off to the high school soccer season, the Rotary Soccer Classic offers a fantastic venue for high school athletes to showcase their talents.
It has now become a Lowcountry tradition along the east coast. Our club is very proud of the growth The Rotary Soccer Classic has achieved since it began in 1984!

Benefits of The Rotary Soccer Classic
The Soccer Classic enables the Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant to provide:
- Funds for Lowcountry Food Bank to combat childhood hunger with support from Backpack Buddies
- Scholarships for local high school seniors and adults for continuing education
- Free new shoes to local children through Happy Feet service project
- Dictionaries to all local third grade students through the Dictionary Project
- Financial assistance to other established local charities
- Fundraising to eradicate polio and fund Alzheimer’s research

A Tradition Continues
The Rotary Soccer Classic is an annual tradition that has had many successes since its start in 1984. We hope to continue this tradition for our future generations!
The Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant now holds the Rotary Soccer Classic annually at The District 2 stadium. You'll find the stadium situated on the campus of Wando High School in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
