What day and time do you hold your weekly club meetings?
Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant meets on Wednesdays @ 12:30pm in the fellowship hall at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 302 Hibben Street, Mt. Pleasant.
If I am interested in membership, how do I get started?
If you’re interested in joining our club, please reference our Become a Member page and download our New Member Info and Red Badge Checklist. We also have an online form you can complete at your convenience. If you have specific questions, we welcome you to contact our Membership Chair, Kevin Crosby at [email protected].
How much is it to become a new member?
There is a one-time $60 initiation fee for new club members. Club Dues are $95 / month which pays for weekly lunches, Rotary District 7770 dues, and Rotary International (RI) dues that include a Rotary magazine. Dues statements are sent regularly either monthly or quarterly.
Once I am an official club member, what is required of me?
After 60 days as a new member and completing the Red Badge Checklist, you will receive a blue name badge and become an official member. There are over 35,000 Rotary clubs around the world. The Rotary International motto is “Service above self”, and as a member of this club we expect you to participate in service projects around our community and world while you are building meaningful relationships with other members.
Is parking available at your weekly club meetings?
There are several parking areas around the Church. The most heavily used spaces include any of the gravel and paved parking lot areas. These lot areas can be found next to the church and fellowship hall. Parallel street parking is also available around the church. Please do not block driveways, park on lawns or double-park near the church.
